Mountain Home Air Force Base had an airshow yesterday and today, and we had a great time taking the kids out there :) Makenzie acutally went with a neighbor so she's not in the pics, but the boys had a blast! It was really neat to watch the jets scream by at incredible speeds :) They had a bunch of explosions go off in the field to simulate what an attack would look like. Then they simulated a pilot down and they brought in two Apache helicopters and one Black Hawk to "rescue" him while 4 other F-15 jets patroled the air high above. It was really neat to watch. Then they blew the whole field up (it looked like) after he was rescuted! cool! Buckled up safely in a C-135 tanker.
Joe's friend is actually the pilot of this Apache helicopter. The helicopters are my favorite. And the F-15's. Whatever's fast. :)

Our future pilot is proudly flying this C-135 tanker :) The acutal pilot was this really cute little petite woman. Go girl.

So, this is a tank :) That other kid wouldn't get out of the way :) I guess you can't really see him so I could just say that it's Tyler :)

Wow! What a great experience for the boys. Is Tyler covering his ears in the second picture? I went to an air show once and I covered my ears a lot!

no, actually he's trying to pry Braden's hands off so he can jump down. He wasn't happy about being stood way up there. But it sure made a cute picture :)
